Between Branch and Horizon – Framed by hedgerows and branches, this collection looks outward to the landscapes beyond. Inspired by distant horizons and shifting light, each piece captures that quiet moment where enclosure gives way to openness and the land begins to unfold.

A Frosty Winter’s Walk captures the quiet richness of the season, gazing out towards the landscape beyond the hedgerows. Abstract painted surfaces are layered with digital prints taken from my own photographs and fragments of collage, building depth and atmosphere.

Machine embroidery traces the silhouettes of winter branches and weaves texture through the land, while delicate hand stitching introduces a subtle sense of movement. Each layer works together to evoke that crisp stillness of a winter’s walk, where the fields feel hushed and the horizon stretches wide beneath a pale sky.
