Terms & Conditions

Deliveries

I aim to dispatch all orders within 2–3 working days of receiving payment.

UK Deliveries:

  • Posted via Royal Mail 1st Class ‘Signed For’ or courier (for original artworks).

  • Courier deliveries require a signature. If you are not available, the courier will leave a card and attempt re-delivery up to two more times. You can arrange redelivery using the instructions on their card.

  • You may request a safe place or a nominated neighbour in the comments box at checkout.

  • UK Bank Holidays are not classed as working days; please allow extra time.

  • Courier delivery days: Monday–Friday, 8 am–7 pm (no weekend deliveries).

International Deliveries:

  • All international orders are sent tracked and signed for where possible.

  • If you would like an original painting shipped internationally, please email hello@elliehipkinart.com for a quote.

  • EU Orders: In line with EU product safety rules, all artworks and printed goods are supplied in compliance with relevant EU consumer product safety requirements. However, the buyer is responsible for ensuring that any imported item complies with their country’s specific local regulations and import rules.

  • Customs & Duties: Orders sent outside the UK (including the EU and USA) may be subject to local customs duties, taxes, or tariffs on arrival. These costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping fee.

  • USA Orders: Due to ongoing tariff changes and import restrictions, shipping times may vary and additional charges may apply. Any delays caused by customs clearance are outside my control.


Returns & Refunds

I always try to ensure you are happy with your purchase.

  • If you wish to return an item, please email hello@elliehipkinart.com within 14 working days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging. You must take reasonable care to ensure they are packaged safely.

  • Refunds or exchanges will be issued once the returned item is received and checked.

  • Return postage costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or damaged on arrival, in which case I will cover reasonable return costs.

  • Always obtain a certificate of posting as proof of return.

  • Bespoke, personalised, or commissioned items are exempt from returns unless faulty.


Payment

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, which accept most major debit and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Visa Delta, Solo, American Express, Maestro).
