This painting is taking part in the Artist Support Pledge, a scheme started by British Artist Matthew Burrows.
How Does it Work: The concept is a simple one, I offer to sell my artwork up to the value of £200 (not including P+P). If I am fortunate to reach £1000 in sales I pledge to to buy another artist’s work for £200
‘Winter Hues’ Was £250 now £170  – if you are outside of the UK please email me hello@elliehipkinart.com
‘Winter Hues’ is inspired by the cool, gentle and misty colours of the South Downs landscape, during the winter months, along with the seedheads and grasses from the field verges.
An original painting on cotton canvas using fabric paints and dyes. Mono printing with real plants, grasses and seed heads I have found on winter walks with the family. The detail within the painting is added with free motion embroidery and hand embroidery. Leaving the threads to hang free over the mount, adding texture and movement to the painting.
The textile painting is framed in a bespoke white frame with non reflective glass so you can see the detail of the painting so much clearer.
The picture size: 25cm x 24cm
The frame size: 37cm x 37cm
