‘Wildness in the shadows’ inspired by wild botanicals and rewilding projects around the UK

An original painting on cotton rag paper (Arches), acrylic inks and monoprinting with real plants I have found when out walking. The detail within the painting is added with free motion embroidery and hand stitch.

The textile painting is float mounted showing the torn (deckle) edge of the paper and framed in a bespoke inky wood frame.
