‘Calm’ is inspired by the colours and atmosphere at sunset in summer time, the shapes of the pebbles and the wild flora that grow by the beaches on the South coast.

An original painting on cotton canvas using fabric paints and dyes. Mono printing with real plants, grasses and seed heads. The detail within the painting is added with free motion embroidery. Leaving the threads to hang free over the mount, adding texture and movement to the painting.

The textile painting is framed in a bespoke white frame.
