‘Autumn Splendour’ inspired by autumn walks on the South Downs national park
An original painting on cotton canvas using textile paints. Monoprinting with real plants, leaves, grasses and seed heads I have found when out walking. The detail within the painting is added with free motion embroidery, leaving the threads to hang free with the frame.
The painting is mounted onto beautiful textured Arches watercolour paper with a torn (deckle) edge and stitched.
The textile painting is framed in a bespoke Oak frame
